What the certificate covers
Testing is performed on a sample of the identified lot, and results relate only to the sample tested. The current panel is:
- General appearance — USP <630>
- Mass — USP <41>
- Identification and composition — FTIR, USP <197A>
- Purity — RP-HPLC, USP <621>, specification ≥98%
- Potency — HPLC assay, specification 90–110% of labeled content
- Peptide-to-excipient ratio — USP <1151>
What it does not cover
These certificates do not report on particulate matter, microbial contamination, sterility, or endotoxins. We state this plainly because it matters: if your protocol requires endotoxin-tested or sterile material, this panel does not establish it. Reading the numbers
Lyophilized peptides contain excipients and residual counter-ions from synthesis, so gross vial mass is higher than net peptide mass. For lot GHK50-5-22-26 the recorded ratio is 50.8 : 84.3 mg (1 : 1.7) against a total recorded mass of 135.1 mg. Purity (99.7%) describes the peptide fraction; potency (101.6%) describes delivered content against the 50 mg label.
Storage conditions for each lot are stated on its certificate. Lot GHK50-5-22-26 is listed for room-temperature storage as supplied; standard laboratory practice for long-term storage of lyophilized peptides is −20 °C, sealed and desiccated, protected from light.
