Testing and certificates
How do I find the COA for my vial?
The lot number is printed on the vial label and on your packing slip. Look it up in the COA Library, certificates are posted before the lot is listed for sale, so it will already be there when your order arrives.
Who does the testing?
An independent third-party testing laboratory in the United States, separate from the synthesis facility. The lab is named on the face of each certificate.
What methods are used?
FTIR for identification (USP <197A>), reverse-phase HPLC for purity (USP <621>, specification ≥98%), and an HPLC potency assay against labeled content (specification 90 to 110%). Appearance, mass, and peptide-to-excipient ratio are also recorded.
Is the material endotoxin-tested or sterile?
No. The current testing panel does not cover endotoxins, sterility, microbial contamination, or particulate matter, and the certificates state this explicitly. If your work requires endotoxin-tested or sterile material, contact us before ordering.
What does the purity number actually mean?
It is the HPLC peak-area purity of the peptide fraction. Note that lyophilized peptides normally contain excipients and residual counter-ions from synthesis, so net peptide mass in the vial is lower than gross vial mass. The peptide-to-excipient ratio on each certificate tells you what that split is for your lot.

Do I need an account to order?
You can check out without one. A verified research account is what unlocks tiered pricing, net-30 terms, and reserved lot allocation.
How does verification work?
Email contact@oxianlabs.com with your institution or company, your role, and the shipping address for the lab. Verification usually takes about two business days.
What are the volume discounts?
10 to 24 vials: 10% off. 25 to 99 vials: 18% off. 100 to 499 vials: 26% off. 500+ vials are quoted individually.
Shipping and storage
When does my order ship?
Orders placed before 2:00 pm Mountain Time ship the same business day from Salt Lake City.
How should I store it when it arrives?
Storage conditions are listed on each lot certificate, check yours, as it varies by compound. Standard laboratory practice for long-term storage of lyophilized peptides is minus 20°C in a sealed, desiccated container, protected from light. Once reconstituted, handling and stability are your protocol’s call.
Do you ship internationally?
Contact us before placing an international order. Import rules for research reagents vary by country and the buyer is responsible for compliance at destination.

Can I buy these for personal use?
No. These are laboratory reagents for in-vitro research and analytical use by qualified professionals. They are not drugs or supplements, they are not approved by the FDA for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose, and they are not for human or veterinary consumption or administration. We do not provide dosing, protocol, or medical guidance of any kind.
Can you tell me how to use a compound?
We can answer questions about handling, solubility, storage, and what is on the certificate. We cannot advise on experimental design involving administration to humans or animals, and we will not.
